On a typical day, I come into work and carry out the workload and responsibilities of my current placement. I work from 07:30 - 16:00.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt more new skills than I can count. I have developed my professional skills, learned proprietary practices and educated myself on a multitude of digital technologies.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised. University and work are well balanced.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
A great deal of support. I have a dedicated skills coach who helps me hit university milestones and a placement manager who oversees my workload. I meet with my placement manager every week.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have bi-weekly lectures which satisfy course content. I have quarterly meeting with a University Coach to ensure I am progressing as expected.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Sometimes a module is relevant to my current placement sometimes not. Nevertheless, many modules teach transferable skills and work is flexible allowing me to practice learning.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Professional networking events and CPD activities. I am facilitated to attend at my leisure.
