Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

During term time I am at UCLAN University studying twice a week and in work three times a week and not during term times I am on site five times a week in the office.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my apprenticeship a lot throughout my time and have received a lot of support throughout.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot of programming skills, technical skills, communication and development skills during my apprenticeship.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The diploma has been confusing throughout the apprenticeship especially at the start however the problems have been addressed and I am about to finish.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from the company.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Again a lot of support if I ask, working in the office makes it easy to receive help. when I first started and was completely remote working it was daunting to ask for help but i have grown into the role.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification has allowed me to gain a broader experience throughout so when I move placements I have found that I have a basic knowledge going into the placement then can deepen my learning.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have had chances to experience charity, career and sports events throughout the placement however as software engineers we have not received as much f these chances compared to the other apprentice engineers for example mechanical engineers.
