Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
My day to day job includes me supporting project managers and assistants and building up my knowledge on projects. This covers a wide array of areas such as finance, scheduling, forecasting, documenting, communicating with others, being involved in internal and external (client) meeting based on projects I work on.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I have enjoyed my programme a lot more than originally expected and can see myself staying both in a project related role and working for cavendish nuclear for the foreseeable. I like the work i do day to day (mostly). I like the companies flexibility and benefits, i like the team i work with and everyone I've met.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Since starting as a project manager apprentice i have picked up so many new skills and developed so many of my existing ones, i now have a great knowledge on projects and related tasks. For example i now have the knowledge to be able to complete documents like RFQ's, PR's, FTC's as well as having a range of project related terminology. As well as this i have developed my existing skills in team work and communcauiton

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
My programme in the begging could of been organised slightly better in the beginning as i went without IT for a bit and didn't have any real work to do and was doing e learning but once than switched up the programme has been running great and I haven't had a single issue or complaint besides the start
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I have a massive rang of support from anyone around me and in the team i work in as well as being outside of that. I was set up with a mentor and a great line manager who i have weekly/monthly catch ups with for my support. As well as this Babcock/cavendish have internal email lines set up for all kinds of issues
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Again my provider has a great level in a support even through college were there is a bi-monthly meeting set up with my college tutor to ensure my continuous development and tor report any issues.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I feel like the college course could be improved. Having done the PFQ a lot of the information/topics are very similar. However in college it does go into much more detail and gives me more info to apply in my job.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are a range of extra-curricular activities in cavendish, i am a associate at APM, a member of better together and a stem ambassador which all provide great events. Internally cavendish offer regular events on top of this. Finally my office also arrange regular events in the office and parties/meals.
