it is going well so far, getting to meet many different people from different backgrounds who are experts in their field. the work is interesting and feels important

the programme is very well structured with our rota of placements being set out already and accessible for the full 3 years of placements, we get clear communications from our function leaders to tell us the latest news and any changes we need to know about
How much support do you receive from your employer?

support is readily available for anyone who needs it whenever they need it, personally i havent needed it but it is there if i did
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

all of our lectures are taught by tutors with high qualifications and experience in their respective field. if you need the support it is there
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

as it is a nuclear science and engineering degree i would imagine it would be relevant to my field as a nuclear engineer
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there is things there if you want it, e.g. as apprentices we organise football matches for ourselves. and there is other events put on purely through the company

there is lots of opportunities wherever you look and lots of diversity in sectors that there is something for everyone, the people are good and the money is also worth the hard work that it takes to work here.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
think of times you have achieved a goal set out by yourself or someone for you, break it down and use that in your interviews. go in with an open mind you cant judge the job before you have started it.
