Training under seniors to learn about the "seat / area" that I am currently in, progressing towards qualifying as a solicitor. Helping them with projects and having a go at first draft attempts.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Off the job learning day is well accounted for and respected. HR / early talent team are very helpful with any issues.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Have mini-check ins throughout the rotations before the end of rotation check in / appraisal. Seniors are always willing to get you involved. HR / early talent always help out with any issues and how to make the most out of your time.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

ULaw have a great platform and are well set up to prepare me for the exams required. Multiple reviews with employer to keep on track as well.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Performing on the job and studying at the same time allows me to get a better understanding of the some of the work than if I was to do either in isolation. It prepares you for for when you are qualified from day one of training.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes - I play Tag Rugby at work.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CMS?
Do your research on what will be expected of you. Do not be afraid to apply, everyone has to start somewhere. Even if background does not relate directly, think of your transferrable skills.
