I have learnt countless new practical and theory skills. During my first year of training i gained skills on CAD Design, Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems, milling, turning, welding, electrical and CNC machining. During my time at ASSA ABLOY my design skills using the SolidWorks software have vastly improved

Structure and Support

5/5
Since i started my apprenticeship the programmed has been very clearly structured. I have regular meetings with my apprentice manager where we discuss my progress. I started my programme by completing 10 week placements in each department, this was clearly organized for me to gain an insight into the different areas of the business.

5/5
The training i gained during my time with my training provider is very valuable and allows me to progress in my day-to-day work on site.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
