Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My job is to help in the creation and process of product to generate commercial return to the business. This involves competitor analysis, conversations with suppliers, managing projects that involve various people in different roles across the business. My main priority is to assist the other product managers while learning how to take on more responsibility for myself.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme, I am constantly surrounded by great workers who I am always able to learn from. I am in an environment that feels safe for me to grow and make mistakes when they happen. Overall the programme is perfect for me.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my general confidence and decision making whilst also becoming more skilled in Microsoft office. In terms of new skills: I have learnt how to use various new applications such as power BI and ERP systems, I have learnt how to manage products and organise people in a project.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I have a well structured programme. I know when my college sessions are via the timetable I was given. My tasks are well organised, and the flow of work is correct for my ability and role.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a large amount of support form my boss and especially from my team. I am able to ask for assistance where ever it is needed and shadow their meetings to understand my role better.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider gives me support if I ask for it. However, the content they send out for our learning is usually more than enough.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think that my qualification is a great base point for my role. It focuses on the basics and I can see the connections between what I learn on paper and what I do in my job as a product manager.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many things to get involved in. There was recently an event for the apprenticeship open day that was open for anyone to get involved in. We are given many opportunities to attend professional networking events through the company specifically and job specific events.

It is a great company with a huge variety of roles suited to many different people. There are so many opportunities to climb their ladder or work in different countries.
