I am a Technician so i deal with technical issues and then work on design functions for the program i work within.

Yes lots, i have a much better understanding of the aircrafts and how they work and have also developed my IT skills.

Very well organised and i know exactly what i need to do and when for. Deadlines are clear and manageable on top of my work load while on placement.

Some of the units are not valuable to my current role however do give me a good understanding around engineering and allows me to work at the right level to carry out engineering tasks.

Yes we have work socials where we can go out outside of work together, whether this be for food or to go out and play golf or sport.

We get lots of help and support and it is flexible in what engineering function we want to go into.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Have a good understanding of what the business does and how you would like to work within this and ensure you have an interest in the area of work.
