Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I am currently on my Exit role 2-year placement as part of the scheme. on a day to day basis I complete a variety of design and testing work in the avionics department
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Although I found it somewhat difficult to end up in my current role due to my provided placement options where i had to investigate and ask other various departments for a role. I now thoroughly enjoy my time at work completing a mixture of computer based and rig testing work. I feel I am able to learn new skills almost every day which will contribute to a strong and lasting career

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Understanding and creating design philosophy's. How to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team. Creating official standard documents to be published by the company

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The programme is quite well structured and has undergone continuous improvement since i started and placements now seem to be more personalised where the apprentice has more choice. this was not the case when in my placements where some weren't expecting any apprentices and there was not much discipline variety, only the placements I changed myself I truly enjoyed. Furthermore, the university gives limited feedback on exam results and assignments making it a painful experience.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Always happy to help with any questions i have
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Support is good and we are encouraged to stay on track with qualifications with regular Learner Progress reviews.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
At the moment my dissertation closely related to the testing facilities available to me at work. therefore, they go hand in hand to help further understand the concept.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I play 5 a side football within my department which is a great team bonding experience as well as exercise. I am also regularly invited to Eurofighter meetings where i can network.
