Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

its rather well structured in certain parts whereas not as strong in other parts. This is very evident in the second year as it feels like you get a pick at your placement even though you have no idea what they are.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive support from my employers whenever I ask for it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

IPS international provides good support and the tutors will always answer your questions and provide you with help when needed
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The training provided gives you a basic understanding of electronics and the practical work helps you understand things better as you are actually using things that are on site.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

yes there are a range of different activities that we get involved in such as Bowles for example.

You get good qualifications out of the apprenticeship and you get to have hands on experience instead of just theoretical while getting paid.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Make sure to keep on top of work and dont stress.
