Structure of programme allows for time to complete all Uni work and placement work to the correct standard that is required.

Support from the early careers team is amazing and the placement teams too. Both wanting to help in any way they can to aid me in my learning

They are always on hand to provide any support that is required as and when we need it

It gives the background theory behind some of the tasks that are being carried out at work. This enables us to have a wider range of knowledge when in the workplace

There is a dedicated apprentice council that hold events for apprentices to attend to get to know more people on the course, not just from your cohort.

Why?
The opportunities that are available from day 1 are amazing and really allow us as apprentices to get involved with high level events and tasks. The support network that is available to apprentices makes everyone feel really welcome and comfortable in day to day work.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Prepare fully for your interview to ensure you are ready for whatever the interviewer may ask. Ensure that you know a little about the company and its goals for the future too.
