Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

8am start onsite for what is called golden hour, checking health and safety.
Throughout the day I may have site tours to escort, resolve problems onsite, attend/run meetings, quality checks, track progress, plan work and so on.
At the end of the day I will finish off by finalising any Markups/ plans I done throughout the day.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy on the job work more than the Uni work as I learn better hands on.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes I have been taught how to check quality, how long tasks should take onsite and the steps to constructing concrete walls and slabs.

Very well structured at work and the University parts could do with improvement.

Lots of support with everything I do, they are starting to let me be more independent but provide help where I need it.

Be prepared and do plenty of research on there past projects and how they were constructed.
