The programme itself is well structured and changes have been made to other cohorts to improve their experience however i feel that more open communication of consistent deadlines and decisions made in advance would improve organisation.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
My degree gives me a much better understanding of the role of aerospace engineer as a whole and gives me a wide range of skills. It helps in my role as I have studied modules related to avionics which is where i work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I am a STEM Ambassador and I get involved with volunteering events when I can. I also ensure I sign up for any useful training courses however more opportunities could be provided.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
BAE Systems is a great place to work with good support and a good work life balance. I feel valued in my role and I am able to confidently contribute to my team. I would recommend my friends to work here and have given help/referred people to roles within the company.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Ensure good understanding of both the company and the role you are applying for (not just basic statistic information) ensure you have a good example to use for each of the soft skills interview questions that you can tailor to the question. Before talking about it, ensure you set the scene and give context.
