Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Depending on what im being trained on i complete the specific tasks that im set. for example in electronics we would do practical then theory in a specific timeframe
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
i enjoy it a lot and have had the opportunities to learn new things that I hadn't known in the past. I have made a good group of friends and that definitely makes the programme more enjoyable. the teachers and skills coaches are also very nice and helpful which makes it easier to get by also.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes ive learnt a lot of practical skills and doing knowledge question has made me learn theoretical things aswell. my skills have also developed from college work and they have passed over which has made me improve in them and made me more confudent with the skills which makes it easier to learn new ones

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Well organised in the week when we are on section and learning the skills for the business, but once college comes around at the end of the week sometimes it feels unorganised and it is not enjoyable. this could be due to the teacher not teaching in an enjoyable way and sometimes we dont get taught when we need to be. such as before our science exam and the test date was just put back.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
There is a lot of different support that is available. the skills coaches are very helpful with things and help you make work a breeze and help you to get on with things you are stuck on and make sure no one is confused with what they are doing. the union is also a very big help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
There is a lot of support available from BAE as they make workloads easier to manage and things arent a struggle and this then creates an environment where work is being done to a better standard.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Because the work is focused on our qualification and the work we are doing is based on our future job role then it is easier to understand and perform better. i feel like it is getting me prepared for my future job role
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
no
