Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

my role currently in the first year evolved in me going into different classrooms every couple month and learning how to do different processes such as aircraft jacking then electronics. on a day to day currently i come into the CAD room and complete CAD tasks I have been set.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme and I enjoy learning a new thing every work and then working on getting that skill better, I enjoy that we are hands-on along with completing written work however a ,little less written work would be better.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

since working here I have learnt a number of new skills that I probably will not have learnt in many other places, the main one is learning how to jack an aircraft and lifting it completely of the ground. A couple more new skills I have learnt is how to solder and how to use inventor CAD software.

i think my programmed is structured well in the way we learn new things and how certain things link up.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

we receive lots of support and we are told and shown that any problems and there are certain people to speak to we can also speak to skills coaches in case we need anything.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

i think we get good support however there is more that can be given in certain areas as none knows what we are doing cause we have never learn this before
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

my qualification will teach me a number skills that will be needed in the business, I think my qualification will give me a good idea on certain engineering processes it will also give me confidence with machines in the business.
