Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My day-to-day activities vary depending on the workload at the time. This can involve soldering, wiring or desk based activities such as using design software. I get to interact with people from many areas of the business and assist them in their daily tasks. This helps me to expand my knowledge and learn new skills.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I think this apprenticeship is a great way of meeting new people who all have different levels of experience and knowledge which you can learn from. This may be from past experiences or jobs which can better your understanding of a task. It also helps to gain knowledge across a wide range of subjects.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned many new skills during my apprenticeship. I have learn various soldering techniques and I have been shown how to solder to an acceptable standard. I have also developed my problem solving skills when helping and carrying out fault finding with in various departments across the work place.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised, everyone tries their best to ensure apprentices are always busy.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

They check on our progress regularly and ensure we are all okay.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
