Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Rotate around many different departments within the business, haven't done too much as of yet. I've supported work with documentation, changes to planning schedules and created an awareness level training course.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
Work is interesting but can occasionally get slow as I do not have much responsibility at the moment.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Developed communication, teamwork skills, and enhanced my existing skills of using MS Office, particularly Excel.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The program is probably the best it can be. You rotate around placements every 3-6 months to get a taste of what you may or may not enjoy, meaning that you're not necessarily stuck doing something you do not like.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer, whether that be from my skills coach, relocation scheme, support services and just general enquiries.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
The college provides additional catch-up sessions on Fridays to make sure people can get additional support if they need it. Quality of teaching is not the best though.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
Haven't had to use any of the knowledge, as of yet, but I am sure it will come in useful once I begin to exit my apprenticeship into my full-time role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Too many to list. Nuclear Scholars provide a load of events to help encourage students to take up an apprenticeship in the Nuclear field. Work nights out and community events are also frequently run.
