Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
There's definitely some structure/organisation, but it could definitely be better
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A good amount of support, there is definitely support in place for those who need/ask for it
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
A mild amount, there could definitely be more support, i myself struggle but find i have to constantly ask for support despite having spoken with the tutors about my ongoing struggles
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
Honestly, it doesn't, there are a few things we learn that are useful, health and safety being the main thing, but the job itself is mechanical, hands on, I feel myself and other apprentices would benefit more from less theory based work and more hands on / on the job experience.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
Yes but I don't know what they are

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Good opportunity to learn useful skills and have a secure well paying job
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Don't do what I did, focus on the theory work (which hopefully the reduce) so that you don't get behind
