My role at the moment involves attending college 5 days a week, my days are balanced between working in the electrical workshop and learning theory.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it a lot, you are well trained and looked after.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

During my role I have developed on my communication skills as you meet lots of new people that you will be working with everyday.
Another skill I have developed is adaptability as I had to go from working remotely to going to college everyday which I haven’t done since being at school.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I think my programme is very well organized as they provide you with everything you need
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer, for example every couple of months we receive a wellbeing check to make sure we are all okay and on the right track.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We receive a lot of support considering sometimes we don’t have a tutor for some lessons, but our other tutors make sure we are fully up to date with our work to make our exams less stressful
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

We get safety training, for example working at heights and I’m safe training. This helps us understand the importance of safety in the workplace and helps us keep not only ourselves but everyone around us safe.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes you can for example, STEM ambassador.
