Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
How much support do you receive from your employer?
My supervisor takes their role as both a legal and pastoral mentor seriously. Another plus is the amount of responsibility given to newcomers. Our programme sponsor maintains regular communication through monthly scheduled meetings during our rotations.
Beyond our immediate team and supervisor, everyone from trainees to the office managing partner has been approachable and supportive, helping us settle in and address any questions. Transitioning from A-Levels to the apprenticeship was smoother than anticipated, thanks to the comprehensive support provided.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
We also have internal people networks such as Mosaic, the firm’s racial and ethnic diversity network, which hosts various events like Lunar New Year celebrations, the Fast for a Day challenge, and subsequent Iftar event and Black History Month 2024: Reclaiming Narratives event. There are lots of activities to get involved in!
