5/5
Currently, I work as an Quality Assurance Officer on one of the Production plants. The main function of my role is to ensure the aseptic suite and the operators within it are suitable for manufacturing sterile products. I assist in decision making in regards to planned interventions and unforeseen events that
may affect the sites ability to produce and get products to patients.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I thoroughly enjoy all parts of my work. I enjoy the fast paced, high pressure environment and the collaborative working my jobs brings. I have to speak to a wide range of people across the teams and across site and I really enjoy this part of my job. I enjoy most of the university modules too.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt many skills from basic training and sign offs within my role to building on my existing communication skills, team work , leadership, public speaking etc

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The work side of it is extremely well organised. University could be more structured as we often have to wait long periods of time for feedback.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive lots of support from employer. My current manager is great and I feel extremely supported and able to complete my uni work whenever I need too.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
The pastoral support from uni (skills coaches) is always there if needed but again the academic feedback is often very minimal and lacks detail.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The microbiological knowledge I get from my degree helps me identify organisms of concerns in my day to day reviews.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes we have networking events from the apprentice committee and my team is very social too.
