Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Currently I am in a legal tech seat, so I monitor the team inbox, create data rooms, use multiple software tools, and help with internal technology processes. In my previous legal delivery centre seat, I partook in various disclosure and DSAR cases. I usually work within my team, however, I do have interactions with many people across the company and across the globe.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really love the programme. I joined straight from leaving college, and coming into this role helped me to transition into a professional working environment with ease. There's a lot of support within the company and everybody is on board to help me achieve whatever it is my gaols are.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I have developed my time management skills a lot; balancing study and professional work can be challenging, but doing both has allowed me to master time and prioritisation skills. I have also developed my communication skills from speaking with people at differing seniority levels, different backgrounds, and even external stakeholders. Because of this, my confidence has skyrocketed.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
Very well organised. We have set times for when we rotate seats, when we change modules for university, when we take study leave, and much more. Very rarely have I felt lost in the programme as everything is very well structured; we are always kept informed and up-to-date.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
A lot of support, almost indescribable. Whenever I have had any issues, I always receive the help I need. My managers and apprentice managers have gone above and beyond to ensure I always feel comfortable and happy with my work, also encouraging me to not be afraid of getting screened for my neurodivergence.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
QA provides support whenever we need it. We are provided with a kills coach who helps us from the beginning of our degree, all the way until the end. They are always quick to respond to emails for anything, will always help when needed, and have meetings each quarter on average to update you on anything you may need to know, and support you in any way you need.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Massively, As my degree is in project management, I am provided the opportunities to always expand my workload as I see necessary, suggest alternative methods, and even lead my own projects with the knowledge I have acquired.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
DLA provides social activities, sports teams, and various networks. Each network even provides informational seminars and networking events. There is always something to sign up for and get involved with.
