I thoroughly enjoy my current programme and would highly recommend the Babcock apprenticeship programme as i have learnt an abundance of new skills and have made immense progress so far in all aspects especially my ability to note take and create effective documentation for all of my tasks. I have also developed professionally as i have ensured that i work safely and efficiently at all times in college as it is good practice for when we move into the workplace.

4/5
I think that overall my programme is well organised and i am very pleased with how it is going. I think that my employer does well to contact any information to me and they also ensure that the inform me of any training that i am required to complete. Additionally, they were very efficient with providing me with my PPE adn necessary equipment that i require for my college and dockyard days.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I believe that my employer supports me to an extent however i believe that we would benefit from more contact to ensure that our college work is going as planned. However, i believe that the support when receiving training is very good as we are always well informed and know what to expect.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive and unmatched amount of support from city college plymouth as the tutors are always ensuring that we understand our tasks and what is required from us on a daily basis to ensure that we are fully prepared once we are within the dockyard. Additionally, we also go through tutorial sessions which help us to have a break from all of the intense college work which really helps.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
I think that my qualification will help me immensely when in my role in the dockyard as i will be able to thoroughly complete accurate documentation as well as fully understand my tasks and implement all of the knowledge that i have gained form this apprenticeship which will help to make my tasks effective and efficient.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, once within the dockyard there is a number of activities that i can do such as netball which will help build my physical ability when in the yard. We will also be able to attend a large variety of events which will help us branch out and interact with other people in our field of work.
