Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Working with different engineering tools such as welding, burning and grinding to manufacture different things. We also learn health and safety in the work place and how to avoid injuries.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme as it involves a lot of practical work which is what I wanted to do.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned how to properly use a welding machine without much issue. I have also learned how to use many other types of tools such as burners, grinders and basic tools such as how to file and how to use machinery.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

At the start we lacked a tutor on some days making it seem very unorganised but now it has all been sorted out and now it seems to be properly and well organised.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
