As I'm a first year apprentice, I am fairly quiet within my placement. I often help with putting packs together or presenting within risk reviews. I am hoping in my 2nd year placement, I am given a little more responsibility.

Yes - within my placement and at Uni. I have definitely become more confident due to having to lead meetings and speak up in front of knowledgeable people.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The early careers programme is very well organised. My placement particularly isn't the most well structured and a little chaotic.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support is ENDLESS. You will never be left with a problem here.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Uni is very mediocre. They lack examples for assignment so we are left to guess the structures!
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It definitely does because it is very specific! Sometimes the modules can be kind of pointless.

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is brlliant pay for an apprenticeship and there is lots of support available.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
BE YOURSELF! Use the buzz words in your application and interviews. They don't expect you to have an immense amount of experience. They want to see that you would try hard.
