Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Involvement in the development of new products, creating recipes and trialing recipes and products on both a small scale and factory scale. I also have involvement in sensory and shelf life tests.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
In this internship you have a real life role- you are responsible for the product side of new projects. The responsibility is very high however you have lots of support throughout.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
There is a very nice friendly atmosphere here, even with my placement starting online i felt very welcome from the start. There is always lots of social and mental health events going on.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I have really enjoyed my placement, I feel I have learnt more in this year than I have in my first 2 years of uni! It has really opened my eyes to the career opportunities available within the food industry.

What advice would you give to others applying to Mondelez
Prepare for the interview by focusing on your skills and experience from other roles you have done and how you could apply them to a product developer role. They are not expecting you to know everything too so don't worry if you don't know the exact answer to a technical question!
