Every day is different and the work varies depending on which team i am supporting in my rotation. In my current rotation, the work consists of handling employee relations, report pulling, writing letters and proof-reading important documents and supporting the business
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my program and the team around me, I have learned a lot through speaking to them and watching how they handle different interactions and maintain relationships with the wider business. They are always happy to answer any questions I have and support on any task I am working on
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have developed my note-taking skills and my communications skills. I have learned new skills regarding excel and have quickly learned the value of it in every-day activities
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I would say the on the job side is more structured in the sense of I know when I'm rotating, what my goals and expectations are etc. However, the course side could use some development in terms of structure and organising what is expected of learners, but I understand the difficulties when dealing with people at different stages requiring different needs
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer and there is a specific team for helping support grads and apprentices which is helpful as it is many people's first job. By having added support and training I feel more confident in my career
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

we have progress reviews and bi-monthly coaching sessions in which we can ask questions about the topic we are learning about
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel it is good to understand the legislative reasoning and general thinking behind business practices, which also helps my understanding when having daily conversations at work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there are sports teams, sometimes team drinks, christmas parties, fund-raising events, end of summer quiz, net-working opportunities (sometimes specific to grads and apprentices to help build their contacts) and there are also networks such as the women's net work and the proud net work

I would recommend CBRE to a friend because I believe it is a supportive and inclusive environment committed to helping talent grow and reach their career potential. there are also benefits such as the gym and a commitment to well-being and there are also mental health first-aiders which shows they care about their employees
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CBRE Group?
It is not necessarily about experience but about your willingness to learn and a desire to fully reach your potential. Soft skills are important (e.g. communication) as they are the building blocks to forming professional relationships and advancing
