I am required to manage the coordinate BIG DEAL REVIEWs, liase with various senior stakeholders across the business send around notes & actions on calls, allign internal resources.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Absolutely love it here, amazing environment lots of room for progression, exposed to high profile deals and how they are carried out. I'm gaining so valuable experience whilst enjoying it at the same time. Company events are absolutely lovely.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

6 hours a week apprenticeship online learning and the 31 working. I believe it really works well especially how all my learning relates to my role and I'm able to build my portfolio.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support, ever since I've started here my line manager ensured I strengthened in areas where I needed improvement and offered utmost support, I also have weekly mentoring sessions with someone on my team who was previously on my team to ensure wellbeing and continue to develop new skills.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They are amazing, have loads of development days and team building. We have live sessions continuously giving us huge support. Also are quick to reply to any questions.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

As it provides me of additional information regarding regulations, how businesses work allowing me to preform better in my role. I'm being taught project management modules which will prove to help significantly towards my role in the fututure.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are tons of networks such as woman in business, muslim network, numerous different clubs more than you can count. There is a yearly kick off where the company gets together and chrismas parties each year where our entire office goes to a venue its really great, although I haven't attended a kick off yet.

Why?
So much room for development although many of us are young we are exposed to a lot and are able to land executive positions after the duration of the apprenticeship which is only up to 18 months, there are numerous apprenticeships Softcat has which I highly recommend all of them.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Softcat?
Be yourself, show personality and show willingness to learn.
