our role is to help and support maintenance of royal navy worships, currently we are in training and due to be let out in the dockyard around august 2025
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i do enjoy the programme as it offered something so much better than going to college

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i can use machinery, strip and have learnt different parts of an diesel engine and can take out and replace specialist parts correctly i can also strip cable and can use different electrical measuring devices correctly

our level 2 programme is a bit thrown together with us doing little bits and pieces here and there but the instructors are good and have a huge wealth of knowledge
How much support do you receive from your employer?

as said previous all the instructors have a huge wealth of knowledge enabling them to share this huge wealth of knowledge with us to help us out in the yard.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

a load of support as they are very informative and also know what they are talking about
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

the teaching given to me by the training provider is excellent, they always strive for the best and always have the knowledge and expertise to help
