Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The first two days were induction days where we heard talks to gain a deeper insight into the firm, including a talk about the firms growth and about groups you can join at the firm, such as the Climate Change Group.
We then spent the remainder of the scheme in our departments helping those in the department with their work.
We also attended social events, such as pizza making.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
During the vacation scheme I learnt a lot about the firm and potential roles available, through the talks we had on the induction days and by speaking to people while working in the department.

Developed my communication skills by networking with people who work at the firm to gain a deeper understanding of the firms culture and what lawyers at the firm do on a day to day basis.

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed the insight - I learnt a lot about the firm, completed tasks a trainee would typically complete and it was a great opportunity to network with those working at the firm.
