A fabricator's role is to carry out fabrication and welding activities on the naval base in upgrade and maintenance projects on Royal Navy ships.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme very much, I am always learning and developing skills.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've developed existing bench fitting skills in the workshop and learnt MAG welding and safely using a grinder.

Very well structured, everything is planned out far in advance and the order that courses are in is good.

Lots of support, they do very well to help teach me new things and there are plenty of places/ people I can get help from for various things, even things in my personal life.
