Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Analysis of customer insight feed such as complaints using power bi and excel as primary tools. Focus on service performance and engagement with lab teams to prioritise fixes
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The programme was useful however, felt more like a chore than anything else with the work required. Definitely benefited from doing the course but developed mainly through every day working activities

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have significantly developed my Excel and Power Bi skills as well as my PowerPoint skills and presentation ability. I've developed my ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other teams

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Overall well structured programme. Some residential courses are organised in a backwards order making them more difficult than they need to be. In some cases outside of pre course training, finding learning resources for OTJ was difficult
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Very supportive employer with a strong focus on development of new talent. Regular meetings specifically for apprentices and graduates to ask questions or gain more knowledge of the bank. Plenty of events to network and meet others in your course
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
Decent support for doing portfolio evidence and preparing for courses however definitely could have been better. Generally had a regular check in every couple months, sometimes more frequently
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I feel the programme has given me more technical knowledge to support me in my role. I feel as though practical skills were mainly developed through working rather than any training provided my training providers
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes lots of networking events and meetings regularly

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Lloyds Banking Group to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Very supportive organisation that's prioritises developed and provides lots of resources to help you be your best. Almost everyone is willing to help you and plenty of areas in the bank to find the perfect role for you
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
Ask questions. Don't be afraid of speaking up when you don't understand something as there is a lot of jargon and acronyms to learn. Make sure to network as much as possible. For the application process always make sure to be yourself in the assessment centres as that I what they are mostly looking for. Your answers to questions don't really matter too much but rather your attitude and response to difficult questions or scenarios
