Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
Reporting on the annuity portfolio.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
There's room for improvement on the balance between the day job, the academic side of things and the waffle

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Developed existing analysis and communication skills

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Structure is clear, when it is explained, organisation could be better.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
Plenty of support from the employer, though this varies between line managers as you'd expect.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
Mixed bag, they are usually very supportive but they do seem to struggle to fully understand that the day job comes first.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The qualification is broad, but that's by design. This means that different elements of it will be more or less useful depending on your role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, plenty of engagement, tho this varies between hubs. Overall tho you won't lack for things to do if you choose to.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Lloyds Banking Group to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Can't fault them really, you need to be resilient to change as it's constant, restructuring etc. If you can handle that the salaries, progression and benefits are excellent.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Lloyds Banking Group?
Be as customer focused as you can be. Combine that with a good grasp of data/analytics and an appetite for uncertainty and change and you'll be fine.
