Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Inspecting residential assets in Central London, drafting market values for these assets to then present to a Director. I also complete reports that are then signed off by my line manager to send to the client. The majority of my clients consist of banks, developers and private equity firms.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I very much enjoy the programme as I am able to rotate into a new team each year, improving on my network and knowledge around the business. I am also able to learn within the optimal environment of market leaders.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Client management, valuation, networking skills, negotiation and pitching skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme is very structured as for managing university days and normal working days. The next generation team is very helpful, answering any questions or concerns you may have.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Support can always be given if you ask for it. Whether it be for studies, physical/mental health as well as support for the APC.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
University support is not as prevalent due to it being online only. There are many benefits that they provide however it seems quite distanced seeming as it is only virtual.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
University study and what is taught, directly links to my day to day role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are many employee business resource groups (EBRGs) as well as sports teams. These consist of: REACH network, womens network, social mobility network, football team, paddle club and more.
