Decision Maker for the Department for Works and Pensions. Making timely decisions whilst providing a good standard of customer service. My role requires me to liaise with internal and external customers.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the change from my everyday role and learning new skills.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, I have gained confidence within my own skills. I have become more Intune with learning and research and the benefit of these. I've developed my skills when talking to customers and within larger groups.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised and structured. My mentor is always on hand to support me and guides me through each section with clear explanation.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer has really supported me, particularly my line manager. I have weekly catch-ups with my manager to discuss my progress and how they can support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider has been fully supportive. They respond quickly to any emails and always make time for calls if needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It will give me a clear vision on my companies core values and how I can implement these into my day to day role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have a social club that organises external trip and regular wellbeing days.
