Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My work varies depending on the project I am working on. Typical tasks include researching, looking at data and official documents. I produce outputs for clients and making strategic assessments in order to offer advice using my experiences and judgement. I attend client meetings and review meetings with other team members.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I feel my responsibilities are on par with the graduate level employees. I am given tasks that are valued in the wider project and am trusted to work independently. I am expected to be able to present and discuss the work I am producing and any findings, even in client meetings

The support and guidance is readily available. Employees in other teams are also very forthcoming at offering advice and career guidance, if I am interested in their work. Everyone is keen to discuss works and assist with any issues I'm having

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The atmosphere is very friendly, sociable and relaxed. People are enthusiastic and keen to talk about their work. There is a sense of pride that the work being done is meaningful and respectable
