We have several placements however they mostly consist of helping the teams with smaller tasks and increasing my work load as go along through each placement
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Meeting new friends all in the same situation through relocation was an amazing experience and I feel these friends are ones that will sick around for a long time through the apprenticeship programme

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Through University I have been improving my maths skills. Not only that I feel my communication skills have improved massively.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I'd say the structure in work is amazing however the structure at Blackpool College is lack lustre and I feel it could be much better.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support is there if I need it however so far I have not required anything
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot less than I would like the training isn't really teaching me anything and most of the time I have to do my own revision either through other students or text books.

So far none of the training through my training provider has helped me at work
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes I have been on a couple of networking events, however most of the extra-curricular activities have been set up by other apprentices outside of work.

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
The work we do is interesting and I really do feel that I am making a difference even though it may be a small part of something much much bigger
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
During your interview just relax and have a normal conversation with your interviewer, that's the best way to present your self.
