Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Everyday is different at BAE, but my day-to-day involves completing tasks given to me by my line manager or senior leaders, involving myself in stretch assignments (which is activities not directly related to my job role), and going to university and completing university assignments.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned practical skills like Microsoft Excel as well as life skills like leadership, collaboration and innovation. I have developed independence and my understanding of work culture as well.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

I only rate this because I am their first Black female apprentice, and the first ion my business unit with my particular role, so there is no blueprint for me. Additionally, I am paired with a line manager who does not have previous manager experience.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
