Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

i am currently on placement, my day to day involves team meetings, and writing various types of reports for aircraft clearances. Conversing with my team and offering help to people with excessive workloads.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do enjoy it, i love the technical aspect of my placement. However, i feel whatever i thought engineers was, this isn't it. I believed the role was to be more hands on, and many others did too.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have developed my social skills, report writing skills and jira use. Excel use and learning the variety of aircraft configuration.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

There is good organisation for the most part. However i do believe it could be better, in terms of replying to emails and having things scheduled.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

the support is good, a skills coach looks after us and i think the support from a diversity perspective is great. no faults.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

skills coaches and others are helpful when discussing what is needed for our level 4 qualification this year.
