Digital Technology Solutions - Involves placements at various teams around the business where I learn different skills and apply these into the real world. Some of these skills are Data analysis, web design, spreadsheet work, leading projects and more.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my programme, all my co workers make me feel welcome and part of the team. I enjoy learning new skills, problem solving and overall just working with technology to make a difference for our world.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learnt new skills in Tableau data analysis and also learnt some coding - mainly HTML work. Have also developed skills in leadership and team communication to meet deadlines and finish projects on time

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very organised I switch teams every 6 months to get broad knowledge of different roles within the business and also to find out what teams I like and how I like to work.

My employer fully supports me, whether that be physically or mentally I always feel there is someone to talk to or help me if I need it

Yes I learn coding and other digital world skills and most work is relevant to my role

I am a STEM Ambassador so there are options for different social activities throughout the business. There are also sport teams however I am not part of any of these

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?

Why?
The Company really look after you and care about your development as a person. I get payed well with flexible working patterns and all co-workers I have worked with have made me feel very welcome into the business. Support is always there if you need it as well
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Do lots of research to find out what role will suit you but also to give you an advantage in getting into the Company as it can be quite difficult.
