Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I get to experience different parts of the business every 6 months and get to deep dive into my placements completing daily tasks such as filling out excel and creating excel sheet and preparing notes for meetings or assignments. Each day is something new which is really eye opening.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme a lot and I'm excited to see where it takes me.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my knowledge regarding the organisation and IT skills. Each day using IT and different online resources I have learnt how to create and use different templates, software's and structures.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is a well organised and structured programme which is outlined to you and reminded throughout the apprenticeship. If anything doesn't feel quite right or I don't understand I know who I can go to speak with for clarification.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

BAE systems are very supportive of my course and my learning needs or preferences and is an open community where I feel I can share if I need more support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support is always there from training providers and the enjoyment of sessions is commendable.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are always stretch assignments available as well as some groups such as run club which I participate in. It would be great to see some more social events organised especially within early careers.

Why?
It is a great company to work for and the exposure within the business is very eye opening. I have enjoyed my course and opportunities given to me so far and would love for a friend to be able to experience the positive work culture at BAE systems.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Be yourself and be transparent with the values you hold. Be aware and flexible and eager for the opportunity if it is something you are interested in.
