My role is an Internal Auditor Apprentice. My day-to-day role includes balancing work with studying. I am currently studying for my ACA exams whilst getting hands-on audit work experience.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy my programme, however joining as an apprentice comes with some weaknesses as I feel like I am the least experienced in my department. However, I have great support network that has been very reassuring and motivating.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Time management has been a skill that I have valued and developed in this role since I am multi-tasking two different workloads. I have also learned how to work under pressure and be persistent when working towards my exams.

4/5
I receive quite a lot of support from my training provider, mainly online support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The exams I am working towards is helping me perform better in my role as it will give me the confidence and knowledge I need. It has also helped me be more analytical and critical, which has helped me with some current audit projects.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There have been many social events that I have taken part of/will take part in the future e.g., Audit Academy, apprentice socials, Christmas socials, volunteering and team social activities.
