To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

My programme is enjoyable, but as expected some information / learning materials are more broad compared to my job specific learning which I can learn by practically applying the learning on a daily basis.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills alongside understanding that some skills can be interlinked and developed through multiple activities at once, as this is my first full time job learning to manage time and work effectively is essential and the support provided to achieve this is great.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is well structured, with minimal hiccups. I have a truly enormous amount of support to help me not just survive, but thrive within the organisation and given the ability to input where possible as my concerns are voiced if things aren't going well.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive all the support I need, from colleagues assisting with tasks that I need some help to understand better, and from my line manager who has been exceptional in ensuring we have all of our needs met and can continue to develop daily.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive enough support through quarterly progress reviews where I can voice any concerns or worries, and I can also email my DLC who promptly responds so there has been no problem so far.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Some aspects of my qualification so far have definitely helped, but a lot of the information can be quite broad and I need more specifics to be able to successfully apply to my current role. It has been useful despite some broad variety!
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are plenty opportunities to get involved, I have played football at the office with fellow apprentices as we book the pitch and get together for a kick about - despite this there are many other options depending on what suits best, you just need to look around!

Why?
It's such a welcoming environment where everyone is friendly and will assist you if necessary. I have been able to come out of my shell and do things I never thought I usually would relating to networking and being able to develop new skills while building those relationships.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest Group?
The best advice to give would be what I was told consistently - just be yourself, that's what NatWest are looking for on top of the academic qualifications / ability one person has. They want authentic individuals who can commit and drive the bank to the future maintaining the purpose.
