Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I have appointments with Universal Credit customers. I help them find work and work around any complex needs and barriers to work.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy the programme a lot. Working as an EO is very rewarding especially when you can see that you have really helped your customer get out of a tough situation or find a dream job that they were looking for.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have developed my existing customer service skills and communication skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Programme is well structured, I speak with my Learning coach roughly every week. And I do my apprenticeship work every Friday
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My line manager is very helpful. I sit close to her and if I have any questions or help with a specific problem she is always there to help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I have weekly meetings with my training provider and we speak about how my apprenticeship work is going, areas I can improve and what we can do to achieve my goals.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It is directly related to my role as it is a customer service apprenticeship and I am dealing with customers as part of my work. It is a little different as we do offer a specific type of customer service at Universal Credit that doesn't revolve around customer retention or providing a product.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes we have networking events at my work and social activities every other friday.
