Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Direct telephone communication with customers reporting bereavements to the pension service. Updating and finalising deceased accounts. Giving next steps to customers for other forms of support and available services. Taking customers through social fund applications.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I found the programme rewarding and used the skills and qualification to apply for other roles in my department. The workload was also very manageable on top of my day to day job.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Better understanding of coaching and managing others in their customer service skills. Better understanding of working with internal and external stakeholders to deliver better customer service.

The online training dashboard and learning plan made it easy to work with my coach made it easy to set manageable goals and deadlines.

I was given additional time to complete tasks when required, and have been encouraged to share my positive experience on the apprenticeship with other collages

My apprenticeship coach was always available via email to answer any questions or concerns, and she was happy to provide work at a manageable pace.
