In my current rotation I manage third party suppliers the bank deals with through reviewing reports put together by the team. Issues where they do not comply with consumer duty is flagged.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The role isn't something I want to do long-term but I enjoy being able to rotate and experience different business areas each year.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well structured and organised. I have a program specialist from the bank who regularly checks in to ensure I am happy and doing well. A talent coach from Kaplan to ensure my wellbeing is prioritised and I'm performing well in my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot, managers, talent coaches and early careers team all support me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A lot, regular calls and checkins to ensure I'm progressing and ensure my wellbeing is prioritised.

good because the modules are relevant to my job and the current economic markets.

they care about your wellbeing, offer reasonable salaries and bonuses and give you a major head start to your career over those pursuing a traditional university degree
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to HSBC?
do something out of the ordinary and evidence this in the interviews - good grades alone isn't enough
