Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Responsible for ensuring compliance with AstraZeneca’s commercial stability obligations by generation, provision and support of the Global Commercial Stability Programme. I support provision of submission ready stability data to support licence management for global commercial products. I have day to day communication with customers directly advising and influencing them.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the learning opportunities that my programme has provided, which have enabled me to expand my skill set and knowledge base. I am interested in learning new skills that contribute to my professional development. Working collaboratively with stakeholders achieving common goals is satisfying, as it encourages teamwork and innovative thinking, leading to meaningful accomplishments.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned various skills involving the management of stability studies and a general knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment. I have developed my expertise by running and improving meetings, which has enhanced my ability to organise and lead collaborative efforts effectively. Additionally, I have improved my communication skills through active engagement with stakeholders ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed about project goals and progress. I have also learnt practical lab skills by a mini secondment.

4 year plan is set out at the beginning of programme with weekly guidance on what should be completed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I have received all the support I could ask for. Including time for extra study, opportunities to build on KSB's and other development opportunities.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Regular check ins with skills coaches to ensure that learning is on track. Suitable actions are taken if issues are raised.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

A high understanding of chemistry is not necessary in my role despite that there are times where content within qualification have been mentioned.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Various ERG groups sports teams and social activities put on. These activities are open to everyone.
