As a reinsurance broker and apprentice under the Growth Company, my role involved facilitating the placement of reinsurance coverage for clients by engaging in various tasks. On a daily basis, I communicated with clients to understand their specific needs and provided tailored solutions. I collaborated with reinsurers to negotiate favorable terms, and managed the necessary documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards. As an apprentice, I actively participated in training sessions to enhance my understanding of reinsurance products and market dynamics. Additionally, I worked closely with senior brokers and team members to support the development and execution of strategic reinsurance solutions. Through these activities, I gained valuable insights into the industry and developed essential skills in client management, negotiation, and market analysis.

I have both developed existing skills and acquired new ones. I also improved my organisational skills by managing documentation and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Overall, this experience has significantly broadened my skill set and prepared me for future challenges in the reinsurance industry.
