Performance Marketing Intern Review

Within my role I focus on conversion media and the affiliates channel. I am responsible for the creative process of conversion media for Vichy and Decleor, ensuring that all stakeholders within the process are aligned to guarantee that deadlines are met for creatives go live on time. In the affiliates channel, I communicate promotions to our agency and compose monthly reports to evaluate performance between each ACD brand.

I was responsible for the management of the conversion media for 2 ACD brands, management of the various document used to maintain alignment amongst stakeholders, completing monthly reports, etc

Time management - Utilising software such as outlook calendar, and excel to plan for upcoming campaigns in advance ie. planning meetings with stakeholders to align, creating a excel document that outlines the key details and automates internal deadlines that ensure final deadlines are met.
Graphic design - Using photoshop to produce ads for our social campaigns.

I received a lot of support from my team and division. We are encouraged to ask questions and be curious as it's an effective way to develop within a business as vast as Loreal. My manager was always willing to share her knowledge with me which I appreciated.

It's a very flexible working environment. People are open to having 1:1 sessions with you which makes familiarising yourself with the company much easier. Overall it's a great environment to work in and work life balance is a priority within the business.

This placement opened my eyes to the vast amount of career opportunities available within marketing and has influenced my ambitions for future careers.
The job can be very stressful at times due to the nature of the role demand a level of reactivity. It's important to have/develop great self-management skills to cope with it and thrive.
