Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Answering legal queries for members in Arup outside the legal team. Carrying out contract reviews, flagging up anything deemed to be a risk from a legal standpoint and suggest any amendments that need to be made in the contract to the project team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do really enjoy my programme through doing work that is challenging and helps me learn something new every day. As the programme has progressed, I am picking up more tasks and responsibilities daily which is helping to develop my learning.

My programme is very well structured on the business side of things as I am constantly supported by my colleagues and am always provided any training and advice I might need with my work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer gives me a lot of support always offering me any advice and training modules that I feel I would like to complete. they also help me go through any legal topics to help enhance my understanding and always look out for pieces of work I can do.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider has given me an adequate amount of support for working towards my qualifications. There is a lot of resources they are very good at providing such as assessment resources however, when it comes to coursework and having someone to speak to, their help is very limited.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me understand legal context better, how to draft emails and messages in a professional way and can sometimes help me enhance my legal knowledge when I am completing a module that links with my work that I carry out for my business.

There are a lot of different extra-curricular activities to get involved in at my workplace, such as networking events, and a variety of clubs with a diverse range of topics in them.
